The Trip Planner is meant to be used together with the Lewis and Clark Road Trips book. As tourists who traveled the Lewis and Clark Trail with multiple GPS navigation systems, a laptop computer, and the backseat of the car piled high with maps and brochures, we designed this book to be handy. The Web site is designed to be handy in a different way.
The Web Site Trip Planner

Click through to 79 destination travel hubs
"No." refers to numbers assigned to destinations in each region
"Page" refers to the book page on which the destination is found

Hours, prices, etc. may be more up to date than the book; or they may not
The Book Trip Planner

Interstate exit numbers are listed
Hours, prices, season of operation are given
Phone numbers make it convenient to call ahead to confirm plans
When planning a road trip and while traveling, a choice of options is helpful. One pleasure of taking a road trip is you can do what you want, arrange your own itinerary, and follow your own time table. The combination of the book and the website allows for the best trip planning. We welcome any tips and suggestions you may have for improving the book and the Web site. Please contact us.
