Lewis and Clark National Historic Interpretive Center, Great Falls MT
Managed by the USDA Forest Service, the 25,000 square-foot building includes the permanent exhibit hall, 158-seat theater, an education room for hands-on curriculum-based activities, and a retail store. Several trails offer outdoor recreation opportunities in plants native to the Northern Plains.
Missouri River Basic Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Nebraska City NE

Go West Across America with Lewis and Clark Game
National Geographic website allows students to become privates in Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery for online adventure. Much of the artwork comes from Rosalyn Schanzer's, How We Crossed the West: The Adventures of Lewis and Clark, published by the National Geographic Society in 1997.
Lewis and Clark Online National Exhibition for Teachers
Lesson plans in nine curriculum themes for grades 4-12 based on the National Bicentennial Exhibition which toured America. The exhibition was organized by the Missouri Historical Society, and included many rare and authentic items from the expedition.
Lewis and Clark, Then and Now: Linking the Trail to American's Students (Apple Learning Exchange)
Live webcasts of reenactors following the trail were broadcast to students during the bicentennial years, under the sponsorship of Apple Computers. Living History with Stuart Wier
Stuart Wier, a scientist in Boulder, Colorado, has had a life-long interest in the exploration and natural history of the American West. He is an on-board historian with ROW, Rivers Odysseys West, the top canoe tour company on the Missouri River in Montana. He presents programs on the Lewis and Clark Expedition and other early explorers of the American West.

DESC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rediscovering the legacy of Lewis and Clark. Each year the Discovery Expedition reenacts a portion of the original river journey. Their boats are housed at the Boat House and Museum in St. Charles, Missouri.

Lewis and Clark Boat House and Nature Center, Discovery Expedition of St Charles
The Boat House and Nature Center is the permanent home of the Discovery Expedition of St Charles, the reenactors who traveled the country with boats from 2003-2006 during the Bicentennial. The building also has many exhibits and a gift shop, the Trading Post. It is located on the historic St Charles riverfront, one of the most interesting places on the whole trail to visit.
